Ingredients
Fresh Pineapple: Bursting with vibrant tropical flavors, fresh pineapple adds a juicy and tangy sweetness to the slushie, creating a refreshing taste that instantly transports you to a tropical paradise.
Ice: The essential ingredient that brings the chilly and frosty texture to the slushie, making it the perfect cooling beverage for hot summer days.
White Granulated Sugar: This natural sweetener enhances the flavor of the pineapple and balances out the tartness, ensuring a delightful and harmonious taste.
We also used:
- Water
- Pineapple leaves (for garnish)
- Pineapple wedges
Equipment
Blender: A powerful blender is essential to achieve a smooth and creamy texture for your pineapple slushie.
Tamper (optional): If your blender is not powerful enough, a tamper can be used to help blend all the ingredients thoroughly, ensuring a perfect consistency.
Instructions
Start by grabbing all your ingredients and prepping any of your garnishes ahead of time.
Then fill a high powered blender with the ice and pineapple.
Next, add in the water and blend for 2 minutes, or until everything is smooth and there are no more chunks of ice.
If your blender isn't too powerful, you can use a tamper or a similar tool to ensure all the ingredients are well blended.
Once the slushie reaches the desired consistency, it's time to serve.
Pour the refreshing mixture into glasses, and for an extra touch, top each glass with two pineapple leaves or a chunk of pineapple.
Now, it's time to enjoy the vibrant and fruity goodness of your homemade Pineapple Slushie. Sip slowly and savor the invigorating chill and tropical flavors. Cheers to beating the summer heat in style!
Top Tips
Use fresh pineapple for the most vibrant and authentic flavor. Its juicy and tangy sweetness will transport you to a tropical paradise.
Ensure you have a powerful blender to achieve a smooth and creamy texture. A high-powered blender will help break down the ice and pineapple effectively.
If your blender isn't powerful enough, use a tamper or similar tool to ensure thorough blending. This will help you achieve a perfect consistency without any ice or pineapple chunks.
Customize the sweetness to your taste. Adjust the amount of sugar according to your preference, keeping in mind that too much sugar can overpower the natural pineapple flavor.
Serve the slushie immediately after blending for the most refreshing experience. It's best enjoyed right away and doesn't retain its texture well if stored in the fridge or freezer.

It might be tempting to leave out the sugar to make these healthier. However the sugar plays an important role when blending the ice to make sure it doesn't seize in the blender.
